I started working with a wedding couple that was interested in Punta Cana.  They already had a resort in mind that is a brand-new build, extension of an older resort in the area, and most importantly close to the off-resort wedding location they have already chosen.

While most couples choose their wedding to be on resort, this couple wanted something a little different and chose Kukua Wedding Venue for their ceremony and reception.  This venue is situated just down the beach from Majestic Mirage Punta Cana.

Even though this resort is not on my preferred list of resorts, I still wanted to help this couple with their Destination Wedding Group.  We worked tirelessly with Funjet Vacations and the resort to put together the best room block and competitive pricing.

From there we help each of the guests of the wedding decide which room category is the best for their trip.  We can see pictures off the website just like anyone can, we read through the descriptions, we research the maps though sometimes you just need to see it to understand it.

Kate Rickard, Group Travel Specialist was headed to Punta Cana this summer and made it a point on her arrival day to the island to visit Majestic Mirage Punta Cana.  She met with the Weddings Department Manager and toured the resort to view the rooms that we have in the room block.  She now has a personal relationship with the resort and can confidently speak about each of the room categories to guests of the wedding group.
