Jamaica consists of 14 parishes which carry different sceneries and flavor. Montego Bay is the capital and has the largest airport where 95% of our visitors arrive. Montego Bay has the world’s famous RoseHall Great House “The White Witch of RoseHall.” It has the world’s famous Scotchies Jerk Center where you can taste Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, and Jerk Sausages, all famous dishes for all our visitors. While Negril located in the parish of Westmoreland is famous for seven miles of white sand beaches, where you can freely walked the entire beach and there you will see weddings taking place at hotels located on the beach daily. Ochos Rios (recognized for the many rivers) is the capital of the parish of St. Ann the garden parish which consists of one of our largest cruise ship ports in Jamaica and lots of brides, take this prefer means for transportation to the island to have their beach wedding which is less costly.
Portland is another preferred destination for beach and garden weddings in Jamaica. This beautiful parish is known for its
natural attractions such as its fine beaches like the Frenchman’s Cove, Winnifred and Dragon Bay. The world’ very famous Blue Mountains and also the Blue Lagoon is part of this parish, it is also know for rafting on the Rio Grande.
Jamaica is ranked one of the top 10 locations for destination weddings as our beaches are beautiful for weddings. Each week we perform weddings for cruise ship visitors, hotels and villas visitors as well. Most of our clients prefer a secluded beach venue where they can have wedding and reception privately and we provide that service and from time to time offer a sunset cruise after the wedding which is simply beautiful.
Some brides prefer a garden or a hillside wedding but they always request a view of the ocean which is a must in weddings here in Jamaica as our ocean is a part of our beauty. Beach weddings in Jamaica will always be a preferred wedding selection as our beaches are spectacular and is one of our main attractions.
