Make sure your passport is up to date. Also, make sure you have enough pages in your passport for all the new stamps you will accumulate to and from your trip. Leave a copy of your passport at home, plus travel with a couple extra copies. That way you can leave your passport in the safe in the room and carry the copy when you hit the beach.
Be ready to pack the essentials. Stock up on extra toiletries that are ready for travel. The worst is spending your extra cash on SPF in the hotel gift shop.
Plan for your pet’s vacay! Next time you are at your vet, check on the operating hours for boarding. Know the latest time you can drop them off and how much it will cost for a long weekend away.
Hit the pharmacy and keep at least a week’s worth of your prescriptions on hand. That way you don’t lose your momentum by waiting an hour for a fill.
Now just find the right trip and go! Don’t look back, sometimes the most spontaneous of trips make the most memorable 🙂
