Groupon Travel Tip

This is by far my favorite travel tip to share!  After spending all that time researching and comparing the best deal for flight and airfare, make sure you don’t throw your petty cash to the curb.  Everytime I pick a new destination, I sign up to receive the local groupon via email.  After I booked my $55 fare (see last post) I signed up for the Naples, Florida groupon.  I was hoping to find restaurant, shopping and attraction savings.

Lucky for me, a Naples charter boat company was offering a Sunset Cruise for half the price!  Wow! Not even a week, I scored what I was looking for.  The best thing about Groupon is that the offer is good for six months, so even far out travels would suffice.  Each groupon member was able to purchase a ticket for themselves and two additional tickets to give as gifts.  We decided to make this a group outing and bought 8 tickets among us.  Definitely read the fine print, some deals only allow one Groupon per table or group.

Don’t just stop at Groupon either, Living Social is always known to have a great daily deal.  Plus, don’t overlook the local newspaper, they are picking up on the deal of the day trend also.

As for me, I’m keeping my eye open for my next daily deal offering crab legs seaside.  Wish me luck!
